It is from Heiner Muller’s Bildbeschreibung that this action takes its beginning and pretext. From the meticulous description of an immaterial painting, which no one sees and which perhaps does not exist, a journey begins toward an image of memory, or perhaps a nightmare that always returns. It is the voice that describes everything that creates this image before us, that points out where to look, that makes us notice a detail, a color, a shape, that leads us to reflect on the causes and effects of what we begin to see. A voice that becomes an eye. Ears that become new organs of sight. And, as when one closes one’s eyes, in the silence of the voice, nothing will remain. Only the explosion of a memory, an impression of having seen something.
